The Southern Perthshire Tourism Association (SPTA), including Auchterarder, Greenloaning, Braco, Blackford, Gleneagles, Glen Devon, Aberuthven, Dunning and Forteviot is an independent group whose aims are to represent the interests of local businesses in the most effective way possible, which means working with everyone in the community as well as with the official tourism bodies. This website is an online introduction to the area that includes a map, history of the area, what to do and see and a news page. SPTA members are listed under headings, where to stay, eating out, shops and local services, and where applicable, you can click through their own websites. The SPTA's aim is to make this new Website the best online resource for anyone visiting, touring, re-locating to the area or just looking for a local service.
