Great Walks in Southern Perthshire

The Provost’s Walk

Distance: 4 miles/6.5km
Approximate Time: 60 minutes
Height Gain: negligible

A peaceful and level circuit on the edge of the town centre, affording views of surrounding countryside and hills. The route is divided into several `mini sections` with colourful names including Oak Walk, Shepherd’s Wynd and Beggarmuir Road. Western Road Park (on the western edge of the town) has a map board outlining the route and is the most sensible place to begin the loop.
